I’ve been using the Foxtale Aquamarine Oil-Free Moisturizer and it’s decent, but not perfect.
The texture is a light gel-cream and it feels very cooling and fresh when you apply it. It suits normal to oily, acne-prone skin, but there are some issues.
What I liked:
Feels lightweight
Gives instant hydration
Soothes redness and active acne
Doesn’t feel heavy or greasy
What I didn’t like:
After a few minutes, it feels slightly sticky on the skin
When I apply sunscreen on top, it starts peeling / pilling
Not very comfortable for layering under makeup
Who it’s good for:
If you stay indoors or use it at night, it works fine for oily skin. But for daytime skincare with sunscreen, it’s not very layering-friendly.
Final verdict:
It hydrates and calms the skin, but the stickiness and pilling with sunscreen are a downside. I would prefer it more as a night moisturizer than a daytime one.
